To write this chronicle, select an important figure in the world of accounting:
Fray Luca Pacioli was one of the most remarkable figures of the Italian Renaissance,
and he was remembered above all as the “Father of Accounting.” He was born in
1447 in Sansepolcro, a small town in Tuscany, Italy. His early life was connected to
the Franciscan order, because he entered the monastery and became a friar.
Although his origins were humble, his passion for learning was strong, and his
destiny was marked by education, mathematics, and faith.
